| On September 18, 2008, Invesco PowerShares added to its family of Global Resource ETFs with four new funds. The PowerShares Global Agriculture Portfolio, PowerShares Global Coal Portfolio, PowerShares Global Steel Portfolio and PowerShares Global Gold and Precious Metals Portfolio provide investors with exposure to some of the largest and most liquid companies in the commodities industry. The underlying indexes of these funds are designed to track the performance of companies that focus on: |
- Agriculture and farming-related activities (PAGG)
- The coal industry (PKOL)
- Mining and activities related to gold and other precious metals (PSAU)
- The manufacturing and storage of iron and steel products (PSTL)
